Ep. 13 - Special Guest - WRAMA WILLIS
Updated: Sep 25, 2019
In today's episode, I'm pleased to have Wrama Willis as a guest who openly shares her challenges with deep childhood sadness, intergenerational trauma, postpartum depression, and the fear of death.
As a woman of colour and a mother, Wrama speaks about how race and culture have played an impact in her history with depression; how having children deepened feelings of unworthiness as a mother, and how racial trauma travels through the family generations.
Wrama then goes on to share her remarkable insight and acceptance into a condition she was diagnosed with and how acceptance helped change her mindset when it comes to death and depression.
Wrama is a rising actor in Calgary and I cannot thank her enough for inspiring many women who have experienced the emotions surrounding family and motherhood. I hope you enjoy this episode!
